the top plays from the past week of Mets minor league action with the Mets
Minors GIF’s of the Week.
The B-Mets moved Robert Gsellman to the 7-day DL with a minor groin issue. Considering the team needed to make a roster move to add Rainy Lara for the double-header Friday, it's still possible this was just a roster move that let's Gsellman skip a May start after a heavyish workload early. That said, the iscorecast pitch log's posted show that his fastball velocity was down from his previous start Thursday night, so it's probably a little of both.

Minors MVP of the Day
– Dilson Herrera had his second multi-homer game of the year for Las Vegas! And I thought Dash was going to have this locked up after his big game.
Minors Cy of the Day
– Scarlyn Reyes tossed what was easily his best outing of the year for St. Lucie, so hopefully he can build on it moving forward.
