Update on the Astromets recaps from Wednesday and Thursday: I have all the highlights I need, but something came up before I could finish recaps and uploading on Friday, so look for them this weekend instead.

ICYMI, the All-Star teams have been announced for the Pacific Coast League and Eastern League, and the Mets will be represented by the following players:
-       Amed Rosario has been chosen for the PCL squad, which will square off with a squad of International League All-Stars (the other Triple-A) on 7/12.
-       P.J. Conlon, Corey Oswalt, Tomas Nido, Luis Guillorme, and Kevin Taylor will represent the Eastern division of the EL All-Star game on 7/12.

In addition, Tomas Nido and Amed Rosario will represent the Mets at the Future’s game, with both players playing for the World Squad.

Betsy Helfand of LVRJ talked to Mitch Atkins about how he found his way back into affiliated ball.

For the first time in Binghamton’s history with the EL, they are making a bid for an All-Star game.

Check out yesterday’s results here. Coverage will be light tonight and I might not have Wednesday recaps out until Friday, but I should be able to catch up some on Friday. Cyclones on MiLBtv tonight, so I'll be trying to at least cover that Friday. Also, I noticed that intentional walks still get input as 4 pitches in the raw data I'm scraping, so if there's ever a pitch discrepancy in my stats posted here, that's probably why. I've tried to keep an eye out for them, but I'm guessing I've missed it a few times - only changes the pitch total and swinging strike rate.

The Kingsport Times News says Mets 28th round pick Jeremy Vasquez is settling in just fine in Tennessee.

The Las Vegas 51s finally started showing signs of life again Tuesday night in Tacoma, charging from down 5-1 after six innings to take an 8-7 win over the Rainiers and even the series at one game apiece. In case the 30-48 record didn’t make it obvious, 2017 has been a bit of a down year for the 51s, and Tuesday night was shaping up to be another lackluster showing before things turned around late. Travis Taijeron led off the 7th with his 13th homer of the season, and that sparked a game winning 7-2 run for Las Vegas over the final three frames.

The Binghamton Rumble Ponies evened their series in Hartford thanks to a huge effort from their starter Corey Oswalt. Oswalt did everything short of completing his start Tuesday night in Hartford, striking out six over 6.2 scoreless innings and leaving with a 1-0 lead that he provided for himself when he launched a solo blast in the 6th. The game was a pitcher’s duel throughout and the Binghamton pen did not let Oswalt down, as they retired the final seven batters of the game consecutively in relief of the 23-year old righty.
