Mets Series in Review: vs. Giants

Confused? So are many Mets fans, who seem to be frustrated even though the team is in FIRST PLACE

Dates:  June 9-11, 2015
Results: L 2/3
Current Record: 32-29, 0.5 Game lead over Washington
                                2.5 Game lead over Atlanta

MVMet: Michael Cuddyer made sure the series ended on a high note, providing the walk-off single in the Mets lone win – now go get hot Mr. Cuddyer!
LVMet: I was a little worried about Eric Campbell coming into the season, and things have not been going great for him so far – he’s down to .189/.287/.288 over 129 PA for a 68 wRC+.

Bullpen

            2.25 ERA, 8 IP, 9 H, 2 R, 3 BB, 4 SO, HR, 6 GO: 5 FO, 6 IR – 1 S

Bobby Parnell is coming back at a critical time, and hopefully Vic Black is not far behind, as Erik Goeddel is heading for the DL and Jeurys Familia might need paternity leave this week. This bullpen has kept it together very well so far, but things could get bumpy for a little bit.
