Check out yesterday’s results here. ICYMI, the Mets selected Desmond Lindsay with their first pick Monday night, and rounds 3-10 of the draft take place today starting at 1 PM. I will be posting draft updates, with any scouting reports I can find, here.

Duane Below was placed on the 7-day DL in the PCL (retroactive to June 4th) and Dan Rohlfing was activated in his place.

Casey Meisner, David Roseboom, and Jonathan Johnson have been selected to represent Savannah at this year’s SAL League All-Star Game, which is scheduled for June 23rd in Asheville.

SS – Matt Reynolds – 0-3, BB, 2 SO, GIDP
C – Travis d’Arnaud – 0-3
1B – Johnny Monell – 1-3, BB, SO
CF – Alex Castellanos – 1-4, 2 SO, GIDP
LF – Brandon Allen – 0-3, BB, SO
RF – Travis Taijeron – 0-3, BB, SO
3B – Wilfredo Tovar – 1-4, R, SO
C (sub) – Dan Rohlfing – 1-1
Bullpen:
Zack Thornton (L, 3-2, 4.18 ERA) – 1 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 1 GO: 1 FO, 1 IR – 0 S
Chase Bradford (3.86 ERA) – 1 IP, 2 H, R, BB, SO, HR, 1 GO: 1 FO, 2 IR – 2 S
Jon Velasquez (6.97 ERA) – 1 IP, SO, 1 GO: 1 FO

Pre-game notes: Darin Gorski complete 6 innings for just the second time in his last start, but the pen blew a big lead for a loss; Dilson Herrera and Travis d’Arnaud should be continuing their rehab with Las Vegas Tuesday, they both went 1-5 with a double Monday; Matt Reynolds extended his hitting streak to 8-games, and he’s slashing .419/.457/.677 over 35 PA during this hot stretch, thanks to 5 doubles, a bomb, and 4 K: 3 BB; Reynolds is now tied for the most doubles in the PCL with 21; Travis Taijeron has 3 homeruns over his past two games and appears to be over an 11 game slump; Wilfredo Tovar stole his 15th base Monday night, and his career high is 17 at the rookie level in 2009 (and he was thrown out 9 times then against only 4 times so far in 2015); Tovar also has a 5-game hit streak now; the 51s used 5 relief pitchers Monday night, including two scoreless innings from Cody Satterwhite; Satterwhite has a 2.13 ERA over his last 10 G (12.2 IP) with a 38 K%: 6 BB%.

Rainy Lara (3-2, 3.91 ERA) @ Elih Villanueva (4-4, 2.77 ERA)
@Bowie (31-25) at 6:35 PM
Yesterday: Off
Today: W 8-1, Lara (3.57 ERA) – 7 IP, 5 H, R, 2 BB, 4 SO, HBP, 91 Pitches (56 Strikes), 6 GO: 5 FO
Lineup
SS – Gavin Cecchini – 0-5, SO
2B – L.J. Mazzilli – 1-3, 2 R, 2 BB, SB (1), SO
LF – Michael Conforto – 0-3, 2 R, 2 BB, 2 SO
DH – Brock Peterson – 2-3, 2 R, 2B (1), 2 RBI (7), 2 BB
3B – Josh Rodriguez – 1-3, R, 3B (2), 2 RBI (33), 2 BB
1B – Aderlin Rodriguez – 0-5
C – Xorge Carrillo – 1-3, 2 RBI (19), BB, SO
RF – Eudy Pina – 1-5, RBI (8), 3 SO
CF – Gilbert Gomez – 1-4, R, 2B (3), 2 SO
Bullpen:
Bobby Parnell (12.27 ERA) – 1 IP, BB, 2 SO, HBP, 22 Pitches (11 Strikes), 1 FO
Chase Huchingson (5.06 ERA) – 1 IP, H, 2 SO, 1 GO

Pre-game notes: The B-Mets will play one of their only series that will NOT be on MiLB.tv this season in Bowie this week – I am disappoint; after a nice start to his season, Rainy Lara has allowed 4 runs in 4 of his last 5 starts, and is a candidate for the bullpen if the Mets want to promote any starters from St. Lucie; Gavin Cecchini has been hot all season, and he’s yet to go two games in a row without a hit – can’t believe how long he was the team’s 7/8 hole hitter; Michael Conforto has a 7-game hit streak, with 4 multi-hit games during that stretch, and has reached base in all 8 games with Binghaton (ridiculous); after two hits and a walk in consecutive games to start the month, Jared King has gone hitless in 4 straight, which is a season high.

Kevin McGowan (4-4, 5.13 ERA) @ Nick Travieso (3-5, 3.18 ERA)
@Daytona (33-24) at 7:05 PM
Yesterday: W 6-4 (St. Lucie, Daytona)
Today: W 3-2 F/10, McGowan (4.89 ERA) – 6 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 7 SO, HR, 9 GO: 2 FO
Lineup
CF – Champ Stuart – 0-4, SAC, 3 SO
3B – Jeff McNeil – 1-5, R
DH – Maikis De La Cruz – 1-5, SO
1B – Dominic Smith – 3-5, R, 2B (20), RBI (31), SO
LF – Stefan Sabol – 0-4, 3 SO, HBP
SS – Amed Rosario – 2-5, RBI (14), SO
2B – Phillip Evans – 0-4
RF – Victor Cruzado – 0-3, BB
C – Jeff Glenn – 1-3, SO
Bullpen:
Mike Hepple (2.33 ERA) – 1.2 IP, H, BB, 2 SO, 2 GO: 1 FO
Josh Smoker (W, 1-0, 2.31 ERA) – 1.2 IP, H, BB, 1 GO: 2 FO, 1 IR – 0 S
Akeel Morris (S, 12, 1.50 ERA) – 0.2 IP, SO, 1 IR – 0 S

Pre-game notes: After 3 strong starts (3 ER allowed over 16.1 IP, and 5.2 scoreless before 5 runs scored in the start before that stretch), Kevin McGowan allowed 5 R over 5 IP in his last start, with all of the damage coming in the 1st; Akeel Morris has 3 K’s and a save in 3 straight appearances (5 IP), and he’s up to a 38.5 K%: 11.9 BB%, with the walk rate better over the past month (7% walk rate since May 9); after 2 hits Monday, Dominic Smith is up to .346/.382/.577 with 20 XBH (18 2B, 2 HR) in 119 PA since May 12th; Amed Rosario set a new career high with his 8th stolen base Monday; Stefan Sabol has a hit in all but one game for St. Lucie since his promotion, slashing .364/.432/.545 in 37 PA for the Mets (18.9 K%: 10.8 BB%); Jeff McNeil had his hit streak ended at 11 games, but he’s still reached base in 15 straight; Phillip Evans has two straight multi-hit games with a triple.

Casey Meisner (5-1, 1.88 ERA) @ Yeudy Garcia (4-3, 1.91 ERA)
@West Virginia (34-23) at 7:05 PM
Yesterday: Off
Today: W 9-1, Meisner (W, 6-1, 1.85 ERA) – 7 IP, 6 H, R, BB, 6 SO, HR, 4 GO: 9 FO
Lineup
2B – Jonathan Johnson – 1-2, R, 2 BB, HBP
SS – Luis Guillorme – 1-4, RBI (24), BB, 2 GIDP
RF – Wuilmer Becerra – 0-3, 3 R, 2 BB, SO
DH – Eudor Garcia – 3-5, 2 R, 2 HR (3), 4 RBI (21), SO
1B – Jon Leroux – 1-5, R, 3 SO
LF – John Mora – 2-5, R, 2B (7), 3B (5), RBI (27)
3B – Jean Rodriguez – 1-5, 2 SO
C – Tomas Nido – 1-4, RBI (18), SF, SO
CF – Patrick Biondi – 3-4, R, 2B (4), RBI (9), SB (12)
Bullpen:
Alberto Baldonado (1.84 ERA) – 2 IP, 3 SO, 3 GO

Pre-game notes: Wuilmer Becerra and Scarlyn Reyes were named SAL player and pitcher of the week, respectively, yesterday; Casey Meisner took a shutout into the 9th in his last start on less than 90 pitches; 7+ innings completed in 4 of 5 starts from Meisner #PROMOAT; Becerra has 12 XBH and a 1.095 OPS over 64 PA in his last 15 games, but a 21.9 K%: 3.1 BB% during that stretch – the K% isn’t terrible, but will he start drawing walks as pitchers challenge him less early in the counts; Jon Leroux has 5 multi-hit games in his last 8 starts after only 4 in his first 36 game; Tomas Nido has an extra base hit in 3 of his last 4 starts.

Minors MVP of the Day – Eudor Garcia has really propelled himself into the top-Mets prospects discussion with his performance in the SAL this year, possibly passing the injured Jhoan Urena. He has already passed his 2014 HR total, in 90 less PA.

Minors Cy of the Day – Casey Meisner had another huge start for Savannah, topping 3 other great starts on the night, and making only one evident mistake – the homerun.
