Mets Series in Review: @Barves

My reaction to being swept with deGrom, Syndergaard, and Harvey scheduled

Dates:  June 19-21, 2015
Results: Swept! :(
Current Record: 36-35, 1.5 Games behind Washington

MVMet: Jacob deGrom and Matt Harvey deserved much better with their great starts, so I award them co-MVP’s. These two, but deGrom especially, feature all over the MLB stat leader boards (see the bottom of this page).
LVMet: The Mets offense. The Mets need more than a slash of .202/.260/.292 from their position players – Duda, Cuddy, Lagares, and Dilson combined for to go 4-42.

Bullpen

            3.00 ERA, 6 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 5 BB, 7 SO, 3 GO: 4 FO, 6 IR – 3 S

Can’t blame the bullpen for the lack of offense, but they were handed a lead in game 1 and a tie in game 2, and couldn’t maintain status quo in either. Vic Black was activated for Las Vegas this past weekend, so hopefully he’ll be ready to help soon.
