Thursday Was A Busy Day Of Mets Minors Transactions

            I’ve been trying to do these transaction reports on a weekly basis, but today was a particularly busy day for Mets minors transactions, so I thought it would be worth posting them all in one place.

      -       Alex Castellanos was released so he could go to Japan, while Zach Lutz was signed and returned to the organization, and Darrell Ceciliani moved to the 7-day DL.

      -       Rainy Lara was sent down to AA, and Branden Kaupe was sent there to be an emergency infielder for a few days until Jonathan Galvez is ready to play.

      -       Jhoan Urena was activated off the 7-day DL, while Julian Hilario was moved to the7-day DL retroactive to 7/14/2015.

      -       Wuilmer Becerra was activated off the DL for Savannah.

      -       Chris Flexen and Hengelbert Rojas were sent to the Brooklyn Cyclones.

      -       Ivan Wilson and Jose Maria were assigned to the Kingsport Mets.

      -       Jordan Humphreys was assigned to the GCL Mets.

      -       Grabiel Jimenez, Nicolas Debora, and Domingo Martinez were named DSL All-Stars.

      -       The DSL Mets did some roster shuffling:

            o   Assigned to DSL Mets1: Euner Rodriguez, Joel Romera, Ysidro Pieera, Michael Martinez, Edgar Rodriguez, Agustin Casilla, Kenny Hernandez, Daniel Cedeno, Randi Montero

            o   Assigned to DSL Mets2: Rafael Encarnacion, Oliver Pascual, Wagner Lagrange, Daniel Guzman, Ivan Santana, Ramon Laguerre, Juan Uriarte, Domingo Martinez
