Mets Minors Transactions, July 21-28

Last week

New York Mets

7/23 – Travis d’Arnaud was sent to St. Lucie to begin his rehab assignment.

7/24 – The Mets transferred David Wright and Rafael Montero to the 60-day DL. Michael Cuddyer was placed on the 15-day DL retroactive to 7/22. Michael Conforto was promoted from the B-Mets. John Gant and Robert Whalen were traded to the Atlanta Braves for Juan Uribe, Kelly Johnson, and cash.

7/25 – Jon Niese was placed on the paternity list. Daniel Muno was optioned to Las Vegas, while Logan Verrett was recalled. The Mets released John Mayberry.

7/27 – Erik Goeddel was transferred to the 60-day DL. Cesar Puello was added to the GCL Mets to begin his rehab assignment. Casey Meisner was traded to the Oakland Athletics for Tyler Clippard and cash.

7/28 – Jenrry Mejia received a 162-game suspension for his second positive test. The Mets signed Vince Belnome to a minor league contract. Jon Niese was activated off of the paternity list, and Verrett sent back to the 51s.

Las Vegas 51s

7/25 – Logan Verrett was promoted to the Mets. Dario Alvarez was added to the 51s roster. Daniel Muno was optioned to the roster from the Mets.

7/26 – The 51s placed Nelfi Zapata on the 7-day DL, activated Darrell Ceciliani from the 7-day DL, and placed Tyler Pill on the temporary inactive list.

7/28 – Cory Vaughn was placed on the 7-day DL, while Brandon Nimmo was promoted to the 51s. Logan Verrett was optioned back from the Mets.

Binghamton Mets

7/24 – Michael Conforto was promoted to the Mets. John Gant was traded to the Braves.

7/25 – Dario Alvarez was promoted to the Las Vegas 51s, and Jeff Walters was assigned to the B-Mets in his place. Travis d’Arnaud’s rehab was moved to Binghamton.

7/28 – Gilbert Gomez was activated off of the DL, and Vince Belnome was signed by the Mets and added to the roster. Brandon Nimmo was promoted to the Las Vegas 51s.

St. Lucie Mets

7/23 – Travis d’Arnaud began his rehab assignment with St. Lucie, although both his efforts to play in a game would be rained out.

7/24 – Robert Whalen was traded to the Braves.

7/25 – Jeff Walters was assigned to the Binghamton Mets.

7/27 – Scarlyn Reyes was added to the roster and Casey Meisner was traded to the A’s.

Savannah Sand Gnats

7/27 – Natanael Ramos was activated off of the 7-day DL, and Scarlyn Reyes was sent to the St. Lucie Mets.

Brooklyn Cyclones

No activity this week. 

Kingsport Mets

7/28 – Milton Ramos was returned to the Kingsport Mets roster. Not sure why he ever left, but Luis Carpio hasn’t played since 7/25.

GCL Mets

7/23 – Matt Reynolds (elbow) and Josh Prevost (unknown) were added to the roster to begin their rehabs. Reynolds is 1-2 with a BB and R so far. Prevost threw a scoreless inning to start a game, but then rain suspended it.

7/27 – Cesar Puello was added to the roster to begin his rehab assignment.

7/28 – Milton Ramos was promoted back to the Kingsport Mets.

DSL Mets

7/23 – Brian Batista and Yeudy Colon were transferred from the DSL Mets1 to the DSL Mets2, while Rafael Encarnacion and Daniel Guzman went the other way.
