Clamoring for Michael Conforto? Lynn Worthy says calm down!

MiLB.com updated their rankings of offense environments at the AAA level, and Cashman Field is predictably pretty high.

The travel baseball team that includes Mo’ne Davis will be making a stop at NYSEG Stadium for a B-Mets game Saturday as they tour the East coast. I think it would be cool if they let her throw BP to some of the players – who wouldn’t enjoy seeing Davis vs. Conforto?

ICYMI, Adrian Abreu was suspended yesterday after testing positive for Stanozolol, Gaither Bumgardner was traded for IFA cap space, and Jack Leathersich hit the AAA DL after throwing 57 pitches over 2 strenuous innings for Las Vegas on Monday night.

The Mets have signed another pitcher from the Independent Leagues, taking Mickey Jannis from the local Long Island Ducks. Jannis was originally drafted in the 44^th round of the 2010 draft – the current draft only has 40 rounds!

David Russell of the Brooklyn Paper says that Tom Gamboa’s focus is on baseball, not manners.
