Keeping track of recent minor transactions within the Mets system
7/16 – The Mets officially signed their 18th
round pick Jordan Humphreys and added him to the GCL Mets. They signed former
Mets prospect Zach Lutz to a minor league contract and assigned him to the Las
Vegas 51s.
7/20 – The Mets recalled Anthony Recker and optioned Johnny
Monell in his place.
7/21 – The Mets officially signed Jonathan Galvez and added
him to the B-Mets.
7/16 – Darrell Ceciliani was placed on the 7-day DL. Zach Lutz
was added to the roster. Rainy Lara was assigned back to the B-Mets.
7/17 – Nelfi Zapata was activated off the DL.
7/19 – Alex Castellanos was officially released from the
51s.
7/20 – The 51s lost Anthony Recker to the Mets, but Johnny
Monell has mashed for the 51s whenever down in the PCL (163 wRC+). Tyler Pill
was activated off the DL and pitched 3
scoreless innings.
7/15 – In a surprise move (given the timing), the Mets
released Eudy Pina, Aderlin Rodriguez, and Dustin Lawley. All 3 have already
found work: Pina was signed first by the Marlins, Lawley was signed next by the
Red Sox, and then Aderlin was signed by the Mariners.
7/16 – The B-Mets activated Brandon Nimmo and Michael
Conforto from the inactive list. Rainy Lara was returned to the B-Mets
rotation, which is now a 6-man. Branden Kaupe was temporarily assigned to the
B-Mets as a utility infielder.
7/20 – Branden Kaupe was returned to the Brooklyn Cyclones.
7/21 – The Mets officially signed Jonathan Galvez and added
him to the B-Mets – they were waiting for the Pan Am games to finish. Paul
Sewald returned to the B-Mets from the Pan Am games. Gilbert Gomez was moved to
the 7-day DL.
7/15 – The Mets also released Jairo Perez last Wednesday.
7/16 – Jhoan Urena was activated off the DL, but Julian
Hilario was placed on the 7-Day DL retroactive to 7/14.
7/17 – Robert Whalen was activated off the DL, so the Mets
sent Martires Arias back to Savannah. Paul Paez was promoted to the St. Lucie
Mets bullpen.
7/18 – Jeff Glenn was placed on the 7-day DL.
7/19 – Amed Rosario was placed on the 7-day DL, no word yet
of the injury. Luis Crisostomo was added to the roster for Sunday’s game, as
Jhoan Urena was apparently unavailable.
7/20 – Yeixon Ruiz returned to the St. Lucie Mets from the
Pan Am games, so Crisostomo was sent back to the GCL Mets.
7/21 – Maikis De La Cruz was activated off the DL.
7/16 – Natanael Ramos was placed on the 7-day DL.
7/17 – Wuilmer Becerra and Joe Tuschak were activated off
the 7-day DL. Martires Arias was returned from the St. Lucie Mets, but Paul
Paez was lost to them.
7/19 – Christian Montgomery was promoted from the Cyclones
after a ridiculous start to the season, and Darwin Frias was sent down to make
room for him in the Sand Gnats bullpen.
7/16 – Branden Kaupe was sent to the B-Mets to fill a backup
infielder’s role. Hengelbert Rojas was added from the Kingsport Mets and had a
nice first week. Chris Flexen was assigned to the Cyclones after 3 rehab
appearances with the GCL Mets.
7/19 – Christian Montgomery was promoted from the Cyclones
after a ridiculous start to the season, and Darwin Frias was sent down to make
room for him in the Sand Gnats bullpen.
7/20 – Branden Kaupe was returned to the roster, and Luis
Mateo was assigned to the Cyclones after rehabbing with the GCL Mets.
7/16 – Jose Maria and Ivan Wilson were assigned to Kingsport
from the GCL Mets, and Hengelbert Rojas was promoted to the Cyclones.
7/17 – Dionis Paulino was assigned to the GCL Mets.
7/21 – Alex Durham was assigned to the GCL Mets.

and Jose Maria were promoted to Kingsport.

7/19 – 7/20 – Luis Crisostomo was sent to the St. Lucie Mets
for Sunday’s game, and returned Monday.
7/21 – Alex Durham was assigned to the GCL Mets.
