Keeping track of recent minor transactions within the Mets system
7/10 – The Mets recalled Daniel Muno from the Las Vegas 51s
and placed Steven Matz on the 15-day DL (retroactive to 7/6) for a partial tear
of the lat muscle on his left side.
7/11 – The Mets signed OF Joe Benson to a minor league
contract and assigned him to Binghamton – the B-Mets needed another outfielder
with Brandon Nimmo and Michael Conforto heading to the futures game over the
weekend, but the Mets bringing in an outfielder from outside the organization
for the spot might indicate a promotion to Las Vegas is looming for one (or
both) of them.
7/14 – Rafael Montero was sent to the GCL Mets to begin his
rehab assignment
7/8 – Matt Reynolds was placed on the 7-day DL with a sore
right wrist.
7/10 – Daniel Muno was recalled to the Mets.
7/11 – T.J. Rivera was activated off the 7-day DL.
7/11 – Brandon Nimmo and Michael Conforto were moved to the
temporary inactive list – the B-Mets did the same thing with Paul Sewald when
he left for the Pan Am games – and Joe Benson was added to the roster.
7/8 – Yeixon Ruiz was moved to the inactive list so he can
participate in the Pan Am games.
7/9 – Martires Arias was promoted to the roster from
Savannah.
7/10 – Jhoan Urena was sent to the GCL Mets as part of a
rehab assignment – the 20-year old is 3-6 with a double, homerun and 4 walks in
3 games for the GCL Mets, so he might be ready for a return to FSL action soon.
7/9 – Martires Arias was promoted to the St. Lucie Mets and
Michael Gibbons was promoted from the Brooklyn Cyclones in his place.
7/9 – Michael Gibbons was promoted to the Savannah Sand
Gnats.
7/13 – Johnny Magliozzi was assigned to the Brooklyn
Cyclones after rehabbing with the GCL Mets for 2 appearances.
7/9 – In a curious move, Dale Burdick was promoted to the
Kingsport Mets in place of Milton Ramos.
7/10 – Merandy Gonzalez was promoted to the K-Mets a day
after throwing
a no-hitter for the GCL Mets.
7/11 – Alex Durham was promoted to the K-Mets.
7/8 – Converted catcher, now a RP and another undrafted Mets
FA, Keaton Aldridge was assigned to the GCL Mets roster.
7/10 – Desmond Lindsay was assigned to the GCL Mets roster.
7/14 – Rafael Montero was sent to the GCL Mets to begin his
rehab assignment, throwing a scoreless inning for the GCL Mets.

7/14 – Nelmerson Angela was assigned to the DSL Mets1.
7/10 – Michael Martinez was assigned to the DSL Mets2.
