Post-game notes:
Callahan started his 51s career with a 97 MPH heater, but Max Muncy eventually
squared up one of his fastball’s for a game-tying homer… Per Russ Langer, he’ll
also thrown a slider (none called) and a splitter (he threw at least a few, one
called at 88 MPH, and he picked up his strikeout on the splitter)… Gavin
Cecchini was ejected… Albaladejo retired 22 of 23 after dealing with some 1st
inning trouble.

Post-game notes: Bautista
was regularly hitting 98-99 in his org. debut until the final batter he faced,
when he bottomed out at 97… Radio was also calling a 91 MPH breaking ball for
Bautista… St. Lucie went from upper 90’s heat from the right side to mid-80’s
‘heat’ from the left side with Kevin Canelon… That said, Canelon has 180 K: 42
BB in 203 IP between Columbia and St. Lucie, with a 3.37 ERA and 201 H allowed,
so he should have some suitors as a 7-year minor league free agent this
offseason, with the Mets likely among those still interested in the 23-year old
southpaw… Jeff McNeil left this game early after an awkward swing, but Adam Mac
did say McNeil had a huge bruise on his right triceps from two HBP in the same
area, so hopefully it was just pain from that flaring up and not something new
for McNeil... After going 0-2 with 2 K against Trevor Lane (a lefty with some interesting stuff for an A-ball reliever) in the SAL, Tim Tebow doubled off Lane in their first FSL matchup.
