Roster move: Patrick Mazeika was promoted to the Rumble Ponies. No corresponding move has been made yet, but this suggests either Tomas Nido may be heading to Las Vegas soon (following a promotion of Kevin Plawecki to the majors), or Colton Plaia won’t be coming back this year and they wanted a better backup option in Binghamton than Tyler Moore.

From the Las Vegas Review Journal, Ricky Knapp’s has been learning from his #1 fan; the 51s are cautiously optimistic about a new stadium deal; and Jamie Callahan is adjusting to his new organization.

Per WICZ, the Eastern League’s President Joe McEacharn thinks the Rumble Ponies name change has been a success.
