Recap

            After rolling through the first 3 innings Saturday night in Rome, Martires Arias lost control in the 4^th, walking the bases loaded before yielding to the bullpen. Lefty Ben Griset was the first out of the pen, and he’d allow a bases clearing triple to Joseph Daris, who would come home on the play when John Mora misplayed the ball in CF. The Sand Gnats tried battling back in the 6^th and 7^th inning, but both times the Braves were able to bounce back against the Savannah pen. The loss snapped a 6-game win streak the Gnats had been riding, and pushes them back to 4-games under .500.

Scoring Highlights

            Luis Guillorme hit a one out single in the 1^st, but he’d be stranded on 3B.

            Eudor Garcia led off the 2^nd with a single, went to 2B on a hit from Wuilmer Becerra, and then scored on a Tyler Moore double – Becerra would stop at 3B, although he wasn’t far behind Eudor as they reached 3B.

            Becerra hit a solo blast with two outs in the 6^th.

            After back-to-back walks to start the 7^th, Guillorme lined a single into LF to load the bases. All three runners would come home to score on a bases loaded walk, followed by a two run single from Stefan Sabol.
