2015 Monday Morning Mets Minors Players of the Week

May 4-10, 2015

Keeping track of the hottest minor leaguers in the Mets farm system.

Hitter of the Week: There aren’t many guys as hot as Darrell Ceciliani is right now. He has really enjoyed playing in the PCL so far, and is tempting Mets fans as a potential Kirk bench replacement.
Starting Pitcher of the Week: Toss up between the pair of Aces that pitched for Las Vegas last week – Matz has the edge by number of excellent starts, but Thor had the big day at the plate and got called up.
Relief Pitcher of the Week: Jimmy Duff had an immaculate inning, and allowed 0 base runners. He has been amazing so far, and now I want to see the Mets try him from the rotation.
Team of the Week: The 51s had the best record and it should’ve been better. After a slow start, Las Vegas is one of the top teams in the PCL again.
