Helfand also mentions that Victor Cruzado should be coming back from the DL
soon.
It
should come as no surprise to anyone who follows me here or on twitter, but
Paul Sewald is getting
noticed after his success in the Mets pen this past weekend. As long as he
continues to be relentless
in his approach to attacking the bottom of the strike zone, he can become
an important part of this Mets bullpen. Note that Sewald has been sitting 90-92
in the majors this year, which is better than the 88-90 I noted for him in my ‘2015
GIF collection report’.

was up 5.3% in April, and the Columbia Fireflies were one of the biggest gainers
from 2016. Attendance at Spirit Communications park is up 36% since 2016, which
is probably the Tebow effect.

What happened with venezuelan 3B Kenny Hernandez?
ReplyDeleteSorry for the delayed response.... He didn't hit much in his first chance playing in the states last year, finishing with a .550 OPS over 16 games. He doesn't turn 19 until August, so plenty of time for him, and he's likely in extended spring training right now.
