Familia was diagnosed with an arterial clot in his right shoulder earlier, so
that’s the Mets latest setback. Hopefully it’s not a serious long-term health
problem for Familia, and it doesn’t sound like he’ll be available to the Mets
anytime soon.

Post-game notes: St.
Lucie loaded the bases with one out in the 9th, but Dan Rizzie
popped out and then Enmanuel Zabala went down swinging. Austin McGeorge (22) is
up to 25 K: 7 BB with 13 hits allowed in 20.1 IP split between Columbia and St.
Lucie, and he’s held batters to a sub.200 batting average at both stops; that’s
Vinny Siena’s fourth double since 5/5, when his Mom tweeted out that she was at the game,
and seventh double for the season; that’s Jhoan Urena’s 11th double
