Minors MVP of the Day – Patrick Mazeika has been an extra base machine lately, with his total up to 8 (6 doubles and 2 homers) over his last 9 games after this one.
Minors Cy of the Day – Three strong choices but I'm sticking with St. Lucie here, Joe Shaw was just the second Mets pitcher to finish 7 innings this year, and he really helped save the pen tonight.
