Minors MVP of the Day – This is generally reserved for offensive performances, but no reason I can't honor two great pitching performances in one day! Corey Oswalt had a slightly more dominant performance, so he can be the MVP. He's reportedly sitting low 90's now instead of upper 80's, and he's always posted nice K: BB numbers and GB-rates, so he's someone to keep an eye on.
Minors Cy of the Day
– Chase Ingram has flashed an average-to-plus curve and changeup throughout his starts, but they were both consistently there Wednesday night, which helped him to maybe his best starts of the season.
