Lynn Worth of Press Connects says that Xorge Carrillo is an international commodity. Carrillo’s defense is really impressive behind the plate, but his offensive game has been inconsistent in the minors.

Post-game recap: Another great start from Casey Delgado, who took a shutout into the 8^th inning before a leadoff double came around to score. Jhoan Urena’s triple was hit over the center fielder’s head and he’d come around to score thanks to a pair of bad throws – see the tweet below. Wuilmer Becerra raised his average above .300 with those two hits. Kevin Taylor went deep for the first time in the Mets system – he and Delgado were previously Indy ball teammates. John Mora’s RBI hit came on a line drive off the pitcher. Amed Rosario was hit in the back with a curve, so nothing to be concerned about.
