If you have any link tips, suggest them to @Astromets31 on twitter and I’ll add them in.

            Check out yesterday’s results here.

Toby Hyde talked about Robert Gsellman’s new pitch, The Warthen Slider, with quotes from Gsellman and B-Mets pitching coach Glen Abbott. On a related note, I’d like to put together some clips of his different offerings after a few more starts at parks with constant CF camera usage.

For some reason, the St. Lucie Mets have sent Lednier Ricardo to the Brooklyn Cyclones roster and activated Brandon Brosher for Tuesday night's game. Brosher is not going to skip over the SAL, but with Patrick Mazeika still inactive for Columbia, maybe he heads there and Tyler Moore bumps up? Just speculating because I want to see Brosher play for Columbia in a couple of weeks when they are back on MiLB.tv - course, I'd be happy getting my first look at Mazeika too.

Post-game notes: Patrick Biondi was thrown out trying to steal 2B to end the 2nd inning and would have to leave the game. Trainers stayed with him between innings, but he eventually walked off and Jonathan Johnson took his spot. Amed Rosario continues to tear it up in his return to the FSL. Both of Tomas Nido’s doubles were ground-rule doubles that bounced off the warning track. John Mora’s triple was hit over the center fielder’s head.

First pitch strike to 13/22 batters faced (59%)

Post-game notes: Chase Ingram threw 86 pitches, Lexington batters swung at 35 of them, and whiffed on 20 of those swings – aka, 4 out of every 7 swings taken against Chase Ingram Tuesday night resulted in a whiff. That is nasty. Ivan Wilson and Tucker Tharp went back-to-back in the 3rd inning. The Fireflies put a crooked number on the scoreboard in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 7th innings. Lexington made 4 errors, although only 2 of the runs were unearned. It’s the third time they’ve scored 13 runs in 8 days.

J.C. Rodriguez's homerun

Ivan Wilson's homerun

David Thompson's RBI double

Chase Ingram pitching

Minors MVP of the Day – Amed Rosario barely edges T.J. Rivera for the award where the points don't matter and not even I am keeping score.
Minors Cy of the Day – Chase Ingram's ridiculously high whiff rate made me think twice, but Barbosa's start was too good to ignore for the daily nod.
