Post-game notes: After allowing 3 ER in the first inning, Chris Flexen bounced back for a great outing in St. Lucie, coming up a two out infield hit shy of 7 innings. The Mets offense could not capitalize on their few chances, and ran into a few outs. Luis Guillorme picked up his first double of the year and made his first start at SS. Wuilmer Becerra is 'getting closer' to returning, per the radio. The last 2.2 IP from Dunedin were by a lefty throwing 95 MPH heat.

Post-game recap: The Fireflies started 2-2 with a double (Ivan Wilson) and RBI triple (Kevin Kaczmarski) in their new digs. Vinny Siena, David Thompson, and Dash Winningham hit consecutive doubles for two big insurance runs in the eighth. Johnny Magliozzi worked a perfect ninth for his second save. Check out a post game interview with starter P.J. Conlon here.

Minors MVP of the Day – Maikis De La Cruz has been on fire to start his Double-A career, and he has provided an extra base hit from the bottom of the lineup in 3 straight games: double, double, and a long homerun tonight.
The camera couldn't track it, but there was no doubt off the bat

Minors Cy of the Day – Mickey Jannis took a no-hitter into the seventh inning, so it would've been tough for the other minor league starters to top him, but any one of the 4 could've been given this meaningless daily award.
