discussed how to evaluate PCL statistics with some of the players and coaches
of the Las Vegas 51s.
ICYMI, Milton Ramos has been sent to the Oriole's in exchange for IFA money. Ramos was the Mets third round pick from 2014 and he's provided consistent, sometimes sparkling, defense from the left side of the infield, but he's never found that consistency at the plate due to a poor approach - he swings at too many pitches out of his zone. There were also rumors of Ramos clashing with teammates and coaches, causing some to question to his work ethic. Still just 21, he has time to figure things out at the plate, but he had long since fallen off the system's top-prospects list, even if MLB.com hadn't updated their rankings yet. Best of luck to Ramos moving forward.
