            Check out yesterday’s results here. Travelling home from my beach trip had me exhausted last night, and I was passed out before the Mets game was two innings old. My goal is to have a bunch of new recaps up by Monday.


            The Mets have traded Merandy Gonzalez and Ricardo Cespedes to the Marlins in exchange for closer A.J. Ramos. After watching him dominate in the first half, I’m really disappointed to see Merandy go to the Marlins, and I think he would’ve been in the conversation for top-5 prospect in the Mets system this offseason. I get that A.J. Ramos is good, but his walk rate scares me, and I don’t like giving up Merandy G for him, so I’m not an immediate fan of this trade.

            Roster moves: Dash Winningham and Blake Taylor were moved to the SAL DL. Desmond Lindsay and Ali Sanchez will miss the rest of the season.
