Keeping track of recent minor transactions within the Mets system
7/30 – John Mayberry Jr. was released.
7/31 – Prospects Luis Cessa and Michael Fulmer were traded
to the Tigers in exchange for All-Star outfielder Yoenis Cespedes (!!!!!!!!!).
Travis d’Arnaud was activated of the 15-day DL, and Anthony Recker was optioned
to Las Vegas.
8/1 – Michael Conforto was optioned to the Las Vegas 51s.
Tim Stauffer was signed to a minor league contract.
8/2 – Erik Goeddel was sent on a rehab assignment to the St.
Lucie Mets – it
was a mixed outing. Kirk Nieuwenhuis was placed on the 15-day DL with a
pinched nerve in the upper back and Conforto was recalled.
8/4 – The Mets traded cash or a player to be named later to
the Oakland Athletics for LHP Eric O’Flahery and DFA’d Alex Torres. O’Flaherty
seems like Dario Alvarez, except with more MLB experience.
7/29 – Dario Gorski was placed on the 7-day DL retroactive
to 7/28, and Tyler Pill was activated off of the temporary inactive list.
7/30 – Matt Reynolds was activated off of the 7-day DL.
Tyler Pill was sent down to the B-Mets.
7/31 – Anthony Recker was assigned to Las Vegas.
8/1 – Conforto and Tim Stauffer were assigned to Las Vegas.
T.J. Rivera was sent down to the B-Mets.
8/2 – Dan Rohlfing was placed on the 7-day DL. Conforto was
recalled to the Mets.
8/3 – Scott Rice was placed on the 7-day DL.
8/4 – Darin Gorski was activated off the 7-day DL.
7/30 – Tyler Pill was assigned to the B-Mets.
8/1 – T.J. Rivera was assigned to the B-Mets.
7/30 – James Duff was promoted from Savannah.
7/31 – Jeff Glenn was activated off the 7-day DL. Luis Mateo
was promoted from Savannah.
8/2 – Erik Goeddel began his rehab assignment with St.
Lucie.
7/30 – Jimmy Duff was promoted to St. Lucie.
7/31 – Luis Mateo was promoted to St. Lucie.
8/2 – Chris Flexen was assigned to the Sand Gnats.
8/4 – Joe Tuschak was placed on the 7-day DL. Jon Leroux was
officially released from the Mets.
8/2 – Chris Flexen finished his rehab with Brooklyn and was
sent to Savannah.
