Keeping track of recent minor transactions within the Mets system
8/19 – The Mets signed undrafted free agent Raul Jacobson to
a minor league contract, and released Cesar Puello.
8/22 – The Mets placed Lucas Duda on the 15-day DL with a
lower back strain, and recalled Dario Alvarez from Las Vegas to take his place.
They traded cash to the Braves in exchange for Eric Young.
8/24 – The Mets activated David Wright from the 60-day DL,
sending Dario Alvarez back down to Las Vegas to make room for him on the 25-man
roster, and moving Jack Leathersich to the 60-day DL to make room for him on
the 40-man roster. Steven Matz had his rehab assignment moved to Binghamton,
where he is scheduled to start Wednesday.
8/19 – Chase Bradford was activated off the 7-day DL, and
Wilfredo Tovar placed on the DL in his place – Tovar appears to have a real
injury after taking a grounder to the body.
8/22 – Darin Gorski was placed on the temporary inactive
list. Johnny Monell was activated off the 7-day DL. Dario Alvarez was promoted
to the Mets.
8/23 – Eric Young was officially added to the Las Vegas
roster.
8/24 – Dario Alvarez was optioned back to the Mets, and
Chase Bradford was placed back on the 7-day DL.
8/19 – Mickey Jannis was promoted to the B-Mets to start and
relieve – read more about him here
and his first start with Binghamton here.
8/24 – Steven Matz was sent to the B-Mets to continue his
rehab. Robert Gsellman was placed on the 7-day DL retroactive to 8/20 so that
the Mets could have him skip a start – he’s already at +17.1 IP from 2014.
Kevin McGowan was promoted from St. Lucie for at least one start.
8/19 – Mickey Jannis was promoted to the B-Mets. Champ
Stuart was activated off the 7-day DL.
8/24 – Kevin McGowan was promoted to the B-Mets, and Michael
Gibbons re-joined St. Lucie for at least one start.
8/25 – Jhoan Urena was placed on the 7-day DL, and Jeff
Glenn was activated off of it.
8/22 – John Mora was activated off the 7-day DL, but Corey
Oswalt was placed on the 7-day DL.
8/24 – Michael Gibbons was promoted to the St. Lucie Mets.
No transactions, but they have gone 5-2 over the past week.
Also no transactions, and they’ve also gone 5-2 over the
past week.
8/20 – Newly signed Raul Jacobson was assigned to the GCL
Mets.
8/21 – Keaton Aldridge was moved to a 60-day DL. Miguel
Patino and Anthony Dirocie were promoted to the GCL Mets from the DSL Mets, and
made their stateside debuts.
DSL Mets
The DSL season is over, and both teams finished the season
out of the playoffs.
