Corey Oswalt was optioned back to Las Vegas and Zack Wheeler was officially called up to start tonight for the Mets. Matt Pobereyko and Joe Zanghi were added back to the St. Lucie roster; Alex Palsha and Johnny Magliozzi were 'moved' to the Cyclones roster.

The Mets announced that Travis d’Arnaud has been plaed on the 10-day DL with a partial tear in the UCL of his right elbow, which may require surgery. As a result, Tomas Nido has been promoted from Binghamton to fill in. It will be interesting to see how long the Mets keep Nido around with major league vet Jose Lobaton down in Triple-A. Lobaton can opt-out if he hasn’t been added to the Mets roster by 6/1.
