Astromets Mind considered which draft pick of the Alderson era is likely to reach the Mets first. I gave the slight edge to Daniel Muno in the end, changing my mind off of Chase Bradford given the current state of the Mets roster.
As you may have noticed, Matthew Bowman was promoted from AA to make a start for Las Vegas. I haven’t seen word on whether this is a permanent promotion for Bowman, but with Peavey struggling with Las Vegas again in game one on Saturday, a strong start would go a long way towards him sticking around.
