2014 Monday Morning Mets Minors Players of the Week

June 30 – July 6, 2014

Keeping track of the hottest minor leaguers in the Mets farm system.

Hitter of the Week: Some seriously strong candidates this week, but Wilmer Flores still blew the competition away in my mind – what a week. Don’t know where, but free this man.
Starting Pitcher of the Week: I like to call him Dario ‘Naharis’ Alvarez, and he really needs to be promoted.
Relief Pitcher of the Week: T.J. Chism had a perfect week for St. Lucie, collecting three saves along the way. Always good to see players respond to a demotion by dominating the repeated level.
Team of the Week: One cannot choose between two undefeated teams in such a competition, so I will just say that St. Lucie now has an 8-game winning streak and Savannah has won 10 in a row.
