            Since this isn’t really a game recap, and is mostly just exciting news about lefty Blake Taylor – acquired as a player-to-be-named-later in the Ike Davis trade – I’m putting it up high to grab your attention. He learned his new change-up in the middle of this week (not sure what day that refers to, as he pitched on a Tuesday) from Guy Conti.

            ICYMI, Scott Rice has undergone elbow surgery to remove a bone spur in his left elbow. Also, prospect Kevin Plawecki will continue to miss time for mild vertigo that he has been experiencing lately – good luck in your recovery Plaw, do not rush back.

            LibertyVoice discussed the progress being shown by Brandon Nimmo with AA.
