Bullpen:

            The Mets bullpen had another strong series. Once considered an area of weakness with this team, the bullpen has become an area of relative strength for the Mets. I saw a lot of negative comments about Germen after the weekend and I just want to suggest people give him a little patience. He was one of the best Mets relievers before the DL trip and had a strong 2013.

Looking Ahead: 

The Oakland Athletics come into town for a two-game series. They then head out for a road trip to Pittsburgh (for four) and Atlanta (for three). Still trying to workout a way to go to a Mets game in Atlanta, but we’ll see.
