Keeping
track of the hottest minor leaguers in the Mets farm system on a weekly basis.
Hitter of the
Week: One of the tougher calls since I started the weekly reports, as
Eudy Pina, Michael Bernal and Travis ∂’Arnaud all had great weeks showing off
their XBH power. However, T∂A gets the edge with 7 XBH leading the way while
facing the tougher pitching.
Starting Pitcher
of the Week: Darin GorsKKKKKKKKKKKi!!!!
Relief Pitcher of
the Week: With no clear standouts among the relievers, I’ll give the nod
to the Brooklyn closer Shane Bay, who went 3-3 on save opportunities this week.
Team of the Week:
Brooklyn had a great first full week of baseball – seems like they always have
a good team.
