Hitter of the
Week: Mazzilli edges out a few other power heavy weeks to get the award
for the second straight week.
Starting Pitcher
of the Week: Darin Gorski threw a complete game shutout in his final
start with the BMets and then held the Aces scoreless over 6 IP in his 2014 AAA
debut. He was hit hard and looking gassed in the 6th, so not sure
why he even went out for the 7th.
Relief Pitcher of
the Week: Not a lot of good performances out of the pen this past week,
but Paul Sewald struck out 5/12 hitters and only let one reach base, so he gets
the honor for the week.
Team of the Week:
The Gnats played the fewest games last week and won the most, so they are the
easy choice.
Upcoming MiLB.tv coverage of note:
Las Vegas 51s – All games are on MiLB.tv, this week they finish
up their series against Reno, have an off-day Wednesday, and then Fresno comes
into town for four this weekend.
Binghamton Mets – Play three evening games in Altoona
Tuesday-Thursday at 7:00 PM ET.
St. Lucie Mets – Do not appear to have MiLB.tv appearances
scheduled.
Savannah Sand Gnats – Will play four in Charleston starting
Thursday night.
