Bullpen:

Aside from Carlos Torres’ meltdown in the 13th inning of Thursday night’s game, the bullpen was very strong. Overall, they pitched to a 3.86 ERA, but that becomes 0.77 ERA without the runs charged to Torres in that 13th. Can’t take those runs away, but shows how strong the rest of the guys were.

            11.2 IP, 5 R, 12 H, 3 BB, 13 SO, 2 HBP, HR

Looking Ahead: Padres come into town before the Mets start a road trip through St. Louis and Miami.
Friday at 7:10 PM: Andrew Cashner @ Bartolo Colon
Saturday at 4:10 PM: TBA @ Zack Wheeler
Sunday at 1:10 PM: Ian Kennedy @ Daisuke Matsuzaka
