Recap:

Darin Gorski had another strong start for Las Vegas, but his offense would give him minimal support in the loss. Great job by Arnold Leon, who kept a tough offense in check while pitching in a ballpark that’s tough on pitchers.
The 51s got the scoring started in the 1st on a wild pitch. Matt Reynolds got things going with this one-out single.

Reynolds picks up the first hit of the game
Flores followed with this single of his own.

Flores reaches out and singles just out of the reach of the diving RF

After that, the offense went silent, scraping together only two more hits the rest of the game:
Flores led off the 4th with this single.

M∂D led off the 9th with this double.

The River Cats tried to run on the Gorski/Plawecki combo, and were successful ½ times. Andy Parrino went on first move in the 1st, forcing Plawecki to rush this poor throw to 2B.

Jose Martinez was caught stealing 2B to end the 2nd inning.

Plaw made a much nicer throw this time

On the pitching front, Gorski and Goeddel combined to strikeout 11/30 batters faced. Gorski had the first 8:
