Recap in BMets gifs:
Greg
Peavey had a very strong 6 IP and the B-Mets offense exploded for 8 runs in the
7th, check out the gif highlights below. Check out Tim Heiman's full recap here.
Johnson
led the game off with a double for the second straight day, but was stranded there.
Peavey’s
2nd inning went: HR, K/Sw, 3B, K/Sw, BB, K/Lo. Here are his three
strikeouts, the only three he’d have on the night.
Alex Lavisky swinging.
Jake Lowery swinging.
Jordan Smith looking.
Carrillo
got things started for the Mets with a double in the 5th.
Sandoval
would drive him in with his first RBI single of the night to tie the game.
Burgamy
gave the Mets a lead they would not relinquish with a sac-fly.
Lawley
hit a double with two outs in the 6th.
Taijeron
doubled him in three pitches later.
Matt
Clark hit a big 2R-2B in the 7th to get the scoring started.
Jayce
Boyd followed with this 2R-1B.
Later
in the inning, Sandoval had his second RBI-1B of the game.
Johnson
would follow with an RBI-1B of his own, his second hit of the inning.
Taijeron would score on what was the second wild pitch of the inning, causing the Akron relief pitcher to throw his arms in the air.
Chase
Hutchingson came in for the 7th and got this double play with one
out. I like his delivery; it looks like it should be tough on lefties.
Jack
Leathersich came in for the 8th and picked up this strikeout.
