Recap:

Gabriel Ynoa was great for the Binghamton Mets this Wednesday night, and the bullpen held on for the win late against Erie. Ynoa was sharp all night, relying on a strong fastball/change-up mix to keep Erie hitters off balance. The one thing he had trouble doing was coming inside with his fastball, instead leaving the pitch high and over the plate. It was on such a mistake fastball that Erie power hitter Steven Moya launched a homerun over the wall in left field, which was the only run charged to Ynoa. The BMets were not struggling for offense either, as four batters managed three hits each. Randy Fontanez and Cody Satterwhite had their troubles in the 8^th and 9^th innings, respectively, each allowing two runs, but the Mets had built up more than enough of a lead.

Dilson Herrera gave the Mets a 1^st inning lead with this homerun to LF.

Darrell Ceciliani got a two-out rally started in the 4^th with this single to RF.

T.J. Rivera would follow with a single to RF of his own.

Dustin Lawley drove them both in with this triple to deep CF.

Kyle Johnson hit a one-out triple in the 7^th.

Boyd would drive him in with this RBI single up the middle.

Ceciliani brought home Dilson with this single to RF but was thrown out trying to advance to 2B.

Rivera led off the 8^th with this double.

Lawley followed with a double of his own.

Juan Centeno kept the doubles streak going to bring home Lawley.

Centeno would come home on a throwing error on a Johnson groundball. Dilson followed with his third hit of the night.

Fontanez may have struggled in his inning of work, but he did strike on Moya.
