Dates: July 28-30, 2014
Results: Win 2/3
W 7-1, L 6-0, W 11-2
Current Record: 52-56
Recaps:
MVMet: It was
great to see Juan Lagares have a strong series against Philly, but the nod goes
to Travis ∂’Arnaud, who had his best game in the majors so far. Hat tip to
another strong performance from Daniel Murphy, runner up for the second
straight series and 12-29 with 4 doubles and a homerun over the past 7 games.
LVMet: David
Wright gets the nod with a 1-12 performance. Dillon Gee had a rough final line,
but he kept the Mets in the game until he left, when Josh Edgin allowed a grand
slam with three inherited runners scoring.

Bullpen:
Aside
from the slam allowed by Edgin in his second appearance, it was effective
pitching all around for the Mets.
