Minors MVP of the Day – Two homeruns and 5 RBI's make Travis Taijeron the star of the night. He's been striking out too much with Las Vegas, but putting a hurting on the ball when he makes contact.
Minors Cy of the Day – Casey Meisner had a rough 1st inning in his first home start for Savannah, but he settled down after that and had a great overall start. According to announcer Toby Hyde, he started hitting his spots more from the 2nd on.
