Dates: April 24-26
Results: L 2/3
Current Record: 14-5, 1st place in NL East, 4.5
game lead over Atlanta (7 over Washington)
MVMet: Matthew
Edward Harvey. “How do you stop losing streaks before they stop? With Matt
Harvey loss zapper, now back in stock every 5 games, and better than ever.”
Wayne and Garth said it
best.
LVMet: Jacob
deGrom struggled for the first time in a long time, and he left the Mets in a
hole too big to climb out of. It happens.

Great
job by the Mets bullpen in this series, especially Erik Goeddel, who hasn’t
seen much play early in the season, and Hansel Robles, who made his major
league debut.
Looking Ahead
The
Mets head down to Miami for 3 before returning home for a big matchup against
Washington. Most talking heads had these two teams finishing ahead of the Mets
this year, so 4+ wins is a must, but the Mets could really make another huge
statement with 2 of 3 in Miami and 3 of 4 against Washington.

(1-1, 3.63 ERA)
Tuesday at 7:10 PM: Rafael Montero (0-1, 4.15 ERA) @ David
Phelps (1-0, 3.55 ERA)
