Dates: April 13-15
Results: SWEEP!
Current Record: 6-3
MVMet: The Mets
offense looked as good as they did in Spring Training, and Lucas Duda led the
way, as all four of hits went for extra bases. #Unconfident
LVMet: Wilmer
Flores has not had a great start to 2015, as he’s struggled with both the bat
and glove through the first 10 days of the season.

The
bullpen continues to be a source of strength for this Mets roster, and a source
of luxury. The Mets have received good starting pitching so far, so the bullpen
hasn’t really been needed as much as it might be later in the season, but Terry
has yet to use all 8 relievers in one series – 6 used against Washington, and 7
against Atlanta and Philadelphia. With David Wright on the DL for a few weeks,
I am surprised this bullpen is still 8 deep. Also, with Vic Black and Bobby
Parnell starting their rehab tour of the minors this past week, this bullpen
might look different by May.
Looking Ahead
The
Mets continue their tour of the NL East with the Marlins coming into town. They
play the next 7 games at home before travelling all the way across town to play
the Yankees.
