            The Binghamton Rumble Ponies jumped ahead 2-0 early Sunday and then spent the rest of the afternoon protecting that small lead. Corey Taylor nearly let it slip away in the 9^th, but he buckled down to provide his first save of the year instead.

Erie might’ve had their best shot against Jannis in the 1^st, but couldn’t get the ball past Luis Guillorme, and then Jannis settled in for one of his best Double-A performances to date. Guillorme played a key role in the offense too, knocking in the second run during Bingo’s second inning rally.

            With this series over, the 7-7 Binghamton Rumble Ponies are set to start a new series in Akron Monday night. P.J. Conlon (2-0, 2.12 ERA) is set to get the ball for Binghamton in the opener, so they should be in for another strong start.

            Kevin Kaczmarski finished with a pair of singles Sunday afternoon.

            Kevin Taylor sparked the Ponies only rally with a one out single in the 2^nd. Colton Plaia would knock him in three batters later with a single lined into CF and then Guillorme capped the rally with an RBI single of his own.

GIF’s from the Columbia Fireflies 4-2 loss Sunday

            Columbia’s MiLB.tv feed was limited to behind the plate stuff, and the Fireflies didn’t do much offensively, so I’m not doing a full recap. Fireflies starter Blake Taylor was cruising along until the 5^th, when he lost control and Lexington extended their lead from 1-0 to 4-0. The Fireflies were in danger of being shutout for the third time in this four game series before a 9^th inning rally. It came up a few hits shy of a tie game, but at least they were back on the scoreboard.

           Michael Paez picked up his fourth double of the season.

           Tim Tebow added a double during his multi-hit game.

           Jose Miguel Medina's two out single in the ninth sparked the Fireflies rally, and Reed Gamache knocked him in later in the frame.
