Keeping track of recent minor transactions within the Mets system
8/30 – The Mets traded minor league pitchers Miller Diaz and
Matt Koch to Arizona for RP Addison Reed. Wilfredo Tovar was recalled and
placed on the 60-day DL.
8/31 – Daniel Muno was outrighted to Las Vegas (and off the
40-man roster), and Logan Verrett was optioned to Las Vegas to make room for
Addison Reed on the Mets roster.
9/1 – Kirk Nieuwenhuis, Bobby Parnell, and Steven Matz were
activated from the 15-day DL. Erik Goeddel was activated from the 60-day DL.
Eric Young Jr. had his contract selected from Las Vegas. Eric Campbell and
Kevin Plawecki were recalled from Las Vegas. Vic Black was outrighted to Las
Vegas (and off the 40-man roster).
8/26 – Darin Gorski was activated off the temporary inactive
list, and Jayce Boyd was placed on the 7-day DL in his place.
8/29 – Darrell Ceciliani was placed on the 7-day DL with
what appeared to be a pulled hamstring, and Brooks Conrad was activated off the
DL in his place.
8/30 – Wilfredo Tovar was recalled to be placed on the
60-day DL – it’s like a $100K bonus for Tovar, who might’ve separated his
shoulder diving on a play to his left a few weeks ago.
8/31 – Dillon Gee was placed on the temporary inactive list,
and Zach Lutz was activated off the 7-day DL. Daniel Muno was outrighted off
the Mets roster, and Logan Verrett was optioned back to Las Vegas.
9/1 – Chasen Bradford was activated off the 7-day DL, and
Jeff Glenn was assigned to the 51s as an emergency catcher option. Kevin
Plawecki and Eric Campbell were recalled to the Mets. Eric Young Jr. had his
contract selected by the Mets. Vic Black was outrighted off the Mets roster.
8/28 – Gavin Cecchini was named the EL
Rookie of the Year – he’s been out with a hip or groin issue (I’ve heard
both mentioned during recent broadcasts).
8/30 – Robert Gsellman was activated off the 7-day DL. Matt
Koch was a part of the Mets trade with Arizona to acquire Addison Reed.
9/1 – Kevin McGowan was reassigned to the St. Lucie Mets.
8/30 – Miller Diaz was a part of the Mets trade with Arizona
to acquire Addison Reed.
9/1 – Kevin McGowan was assigned to St. Lucie from
Binghamton. Jeff Glenn was promoted to Las Vegas to be an emergency catcher
option.
8/27 – Vicente Lupo was activated off the 7-day DL.
8/28 – Oswald Caraballo was reassigned to the Brooklyn
Cyclones.
8/30 – Corey Oswalt was activated off the 7-day DL.
9/1 – Luis Guillorme was named a SAL
postseason All-Star and the SAL MVP – he has started since 8/26, but was
used as a pinch runner yesterday. Alex Palsha was promoted from the Brooklyn
Cyclones after a great season as the Cyclones closer. John Mora was placed on
the 7-day DL retroactive to 8/29.
8/26 – The Mets first round pick Desmond Lindsay was
promoted from the GCL.
8/27 – Undrafted minor league free agent Raul Jacobson was
promoted from the GCL.
8/28 – Oswald Caraballo was assigned back to Brooklyn from
Savannah.
9/1 – Alex Palsha was promoted to Savannah.
8/29 – SP Adonis Uceta and C Ali Sanchez were promoted
from the GCL, while Joe Shaw and Eucebio Arias were placed on the 60-day
DL. The K-Mets clinched the Appy
League West division title.
8/26 – Desmond Lindsay was promoted to the Brooklyn
Cyclones.
8/27 – Aneury Olivo, Nicolas Debora and Oliver Pascual were
assigned to the GCL Mets from the DSL. Anthony Chavez was placed on the 60-day
DL. Raul Jacobson was promoted to Brooklyn.
8/29 – Ali Sanchez and Adonis Uceta were promoted to
Kingpsort.
