August 31-September 6, 2015
Keeping
track of the hottest minor leaguers in the Mets farm system, I will be rotating
through the lower level teams covered here.
Hitter of the
Week: Dilson Herrera finished the season with Las Vegas red-hot, and
the Mets could always use more offense.
Starting Pitcher of
the Week: Logan Taylor did a great job for St. Lucie down the stretch,
and should probably have a spot in Binghamton’s rotation next season.
Relief Pitcher of
the Week: Akeel Morris has 3 strikeouts in each of his last 4
appearances, and he now has 25 K: 9 BB and a 0.42 ERA over his last 14 appearances
(21 IP).
Team of the Week:
This choice made easy by the fact that only Savannah finished with a .500+
record for the week.
