            The Binghamton Rumble Ponies made it three straight in Richmond and completed their double-header sweep with a 5-0 win over the Flying Squirrels Wednesday night. After squeaking out a 1-0 win in the opener, Binghamton found itself in another nail-biter early in game two, but then rallied for five runs over the final three frames. They might’ve had more in the 7^th too, but rain came and ended the game early – the Columbia Fireflies also played a double-header Wednesday, and their second game had to be finished early due to rain as well. Feed was choppy again.

            After a rainout cancelled their game Tuesday night, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies and Richmond Flying Squirrels played two Wednesday, and the Ponies rode a top-notch start from P.J. Conlon to a game one victory. Conlon allowed four base runners over the first two innings – the final one on an error from rehabbing shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera – but then retired the final 16 batters of the game consecutively.
